Why E-Government????

The world is continuously becoming more and more technoligically advanced. We are now able to order practically anything we want right from home, visit anything with the touch of a button and find endless information on just about any subject. Now many governments are taking this idea and applying it in hopes of more direct citizen participitation. Of course some governments are more effective than others; however it is a huge step in progress to effective communication between those that govern and those that are governed. I find this topic extremely interesting.
